Editor, filmmaker, and composer Ryan Diaz-Rousselot grew up in Miami, Florida and found a love for filmmaking in elementary school when he picked up a camera and started doing stop-motion with his LEGOs. Since then, Ryan has been dedicated to the same curiosity which ignited that spark. He became an award-winning filmmaker in 2022 at age 17 when he was chosen as a finalist in the national YoungArts competition for his narrative short film Fruits of Labor. Ryan has since moved to Orlando to pursue further education in the cinematic arts as well as direct and edit music videos for viral artists, short films, and professional content for the likes of Equifax and Onboard Media.
Inspired by his early education in the arts, Ryan has developed a unique multi-media style that pushes his medium to the absolute limit his resources allow. Using a variety of different techniques, Ryan tells stories in the edit with an eclectic vision that's guaranteed to earn and then keep your attention. He's never been afraid of a last-minute change in the face of something not working, and embraces collaboration and improvisation.
